Enjoying The Spring Garden

This past weekend we were in Lonavla, to celebrate my Mom’s 60th birthday. My brother, sister-in-law, my parents and my sister-in-law’s parents gathered at Vipul’s parents house in Lonavla. His uncle and aunt joined us as well.

Mom loves flowers and it was perfect timing as our garden was in bloom. The air was perfumed with their fragrance as we played with Varun on the lawn. He loved sitting out playing in the shade and watering the plants.

I captured the blooms so my mom could enjoy this virtually and continue celebrating her birthday! Hope you enjoy them as much as she did. P1070747

  1. Hi R,

Please convey our Birthday wishes to mom. Thank you for the wonderful (flower) pictures, Very fitting for the occasion. Was it all in one flower garden (Vipul’s home) or you had to go around the picturesque Lonavla. It used to be a nature filled destination with hill station weather, not sure how it is now – with so much commercial activity, from what I hear.

    Thank you
    VN

  2. Thanks VN. They are all from Vipul’s home. We are lucky that his mom maintains the yard šŸ™‚ It is still a nature filled destination – you just have to step away from the main commercial areas. Even though Hyd is sizzling in 35 – 38 C range, Lonavala was in lower 30’s and cooled in the evenings – which was perfect to sit out and enjoy the garden.
